Over the years, Master Motor has become one of the largest automotive companies in Pakistan as it introduced its crossover SUV, Oshan X7, and its MPV, Karvaan. These vehicles also proved to be a hit, especially the Karvaan, which replaced the age-old Suzuki Bolan in the local market, for commercial use and trips with a bigger group of friends and family. Changan Pakistan also started exporting, becoming one of the first local assemblers to do so. Currently, the company is working on launching luxury electric vehicles in Pakistan, Deepal. The company is planning to introduce a sedan and a crossover SUV, namely L07 and S07, respectively.

    Dear author,
Please note that Suzuki Bolan still remains a significantly popular commercial vehicle, especially where it comes to using it as a school van, pick and drop van, ambulance, cargo carrier, and even mail delivery vehicle. Reason, Bolan’s parts are dirt cheap, it is easy to repair and hence maintain. That is why, its cost to profit ratio is better than Karvaan. Believe it or not, but for a commercial kind car buyer maintaining cost to profit ratio is very important chiefly under these troubled times.
Another thing, at the least in Karachi, it has been noted that Karvaan tends to rust comparatively quicker than Bolan, which goes to show that Pak Suzuki assembles a vehicle keeping long-term aspect in mind.

It hasn’t gripped the market as presumed to be and created hype. It’s still docile and remains second or third choice of customers ……
