Changan Master Motor has made an important announcement for its customers. In a statement, the company stated that it has opened the limited bookings for Alsvin. However, bookings are only for financing customers. It means the people who want to book the car through a bank, can do so now.
Furthermore, the company mentioned that these new bookings are for deliveries in July 2021. So, a great news for the Alsvin lovers. It is pertinent to mention that company closed the booking in January 2021.
The sedan was unveiled in Pakistan on December 11, 2020, in three variants and two engine types. The car offers VVT 1.37L engine, with 95hp and 135Nm torque, or 1.5L, producing 105hp and 145Nm torque. The 1.3L variant is Manual, while 1.5L will come with 5-Speed DCT Auto Transmission.
Among these three variants, the luxurious “Lumiere” edition with 1.5-litre DC is the top-of-the-line one. As per the company, this variant is packed with features customers in this segment could previously only have dreamt of.
Response from Consumers Over Alsvin:
Alsvin received an excellent response from the consumers after the booking was opened. As mentioned earlier, Changan had to close the car’s booking right on January 14, the day it was opened for the public.
The company said the sedan is “fully booked till June by our genuine customers.” The statement read Changan is not taking any new bookings to avoid long delivery lead time.
“Please refrain from making any payments to anyone promising an early delivery,” the company said. Changan further noted that it would reopen the booking soon.
