Earlier this month, we shared detailed photos of Deepal S07 and L07 with the news that this premium EV brand is being brought to Pakistan by Master Changan Motors, then we told you guys that the company has officially entered in the local market and now it is being reported that these above mentioned vehicles have been spotted in Pakistan. As per reports,  yellow Deepal SUV spotted on the roads yesterday of Karachi, that was Deepal S07 SUV of the size of a
Fortuner. And now it’s Deepal L07 Sedan, seen driven in Port Qasim area of Karachi, where Master Changan has the plant.

Deepal S07 SUV and L07 Sedan are the twin EVs from Changan Pakistan. While official details are still secret, recent sightings suggest that the cars are out for the road test.

Deepal by Master Changan Motors

Deepal is an EV-first brand by Changan and a joint venture with Huawei and CATL (world’s largest battery manufacturer
for 7 years in a row). Huawei designed and developed the vehicle operating system called Harmony OS 4 running on
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155, CATL provided the 68kWh battery which would require only one charge every week and can last for over 530km. Both Deepal vehicles have 250hp and an amazing acceleration going 0-100 km in just 6.9 seconds!

The L07, a mid-sized sedan with dimensions of 4820mm (length) x 1890mm (width) x 1480mm (height) and a 2900 mm
wheelbase, falls within the same size category as the Hyundai Sonata. It has stylish R19 wheels and a ground clearance
of 150mm.

On the other hand, the Deepal S07 SUV offers a slightly different stance. Measuring 4750mm (length) x 1930mm (width) x 1625mm (height) with a 2900 mm wheelbase, similar in size to SantaFe and Fortuner, wider than both but shorter in
height with sportier stance on the road. The S07 features 20” large wheels and a slightly higher ground clearance of
165mm.

Expected Price & Launch Date

The Deepal sightings have only heightened anticipation for the official launch in Pakistan. Master Changan Motors has yet to confirm a release date or pricing details. However, whispers suggest a potential launch in the next 2 to
3 months, with an expected price point slightly under Rs. 2 crore.

The market will respond to their actual price announcement. However, the company mentioned that a 5-year-old Audi E-tron with a 250km range is available for around Rs. 2.25 crore and brand new Fortuner around Rs. 2 crore. In that perspective it will attract the Fortuner & old E-tron customers, as per the company sources.

Funny a few days ago in germany the youth strike and attack against Tesla gigafactory in Germany, people are waking up against ev and they false claim of being good for environment.
We need to stop bring all these ev brands, not only because of their expensives price, missing network of charging station, but as well because it does not benefit the enviroment as much as we think.

Sighting the actions of an ill informed mob as proof of a talking point that has already been thoroughly debunked (but for some reason people like yourself still insist on denying it), does not a case make!

However, after all that we’ve discussed so many times, you have proven “bhans ke aagy been bajana” in spades! 😄🤦‍♂️ Good way to show solidary with your kin (The tesla factory protesters) on issues that escape your grasp.
