As we told you that the locally assembled MG HS, named MG HS Essence, has been launched. We shared the specs and features of the car with you and the upgrades the company has introduced. But obviously, the biggest question is the price, so here is the official price of MG HS Essence. 

Price of Locally Assembled MG HS Essence 

The official price of locally assembled MG HS Essence is: 

• Rs. 6,899,000 

This is the ex-factory price of the car and inclusive of Capital Value Tax (CVT), while Withholding Tax (WHT) and Freight are add on top of the price. As per the company, although our production price is going above Rs. 7 million, but we are fulfilling our promise to the consumers, hence the car is launched with this price. 

Freight Charges 

As per the company, here are the freight charges for the car for different cities. 

• Karachi = Rs. 29,000
• Lahore = Rs. 10,000
• Faisalabad = Rs. 25,000
• Islamabad = Rs. 30,500
• Gujrat = Rs. 21,000
• Peshawar = 33,500
• Sialkot = Rs. 21,500

Warranty 

MG Motors Pakistan has increased the warranty from 4 years/100,000 kilometers to 5 years/150,000 kilometers (whichever comes first).

Along with HS, the company has introduced others cars, including MG ZS and MG ZS EV. MG was facing a few issues in the local assembly of its cars, i.e., the paint plant. The government was reluctant to issue the license due to this problem; however, the company resolved it, and now the locally assembled unit of MG HS has been introduced in the local auto industry. 

With this launch, the MG will become a major force in the industry as HS was already a hit and local assembly means it is here to stay. The local production will increase the trust of the consumers as well as the aftersales services will also increase, and owners will easily find spare parts for their cars.
