We have a very interesting bike owner review in our hands as a female bike rider has modified her Honda CD 70 into a local version of Cafe Racer. In this review, we will ask her about the decision, price, and modification process of her bike. The owner said that she loves bikes since childhood and started proper bike riding in 2014. “My first bike was a Chinese one, and then I bought this one,” she said.
Bike & Modification Price
While talking to us, the owner told us that she bought this 2017 model for Rs. 20,000. “It is a CD 70, but only its engine was in good condition; rest of the bike was in shambles,” she said.
She further said except engine; everything is modified in this bike. “The engine’s pipe is on the outside, while its silencer is of Suzuki Mehran’s because it gives the sound I wanted,” she told us.
The tank of this bike is taken from 2019-2020 Road Prince, while it is painted with car paint. “The side covers, tyres, front light, meter, seat, and handlebar are easily available in the local market,” the owner said, adding that a good mechanic is essential for such a project.
“The cost of total modification is Rs. 50,000, and I think it is totally worth it,” she said.
Duration of Project
As per the owner, such projects are challenging, especially in the initial stages. “The trends in the market change very rapidly, and then it is tough to find a good mechanic who is willing to do such work,” the owner shared.
It took six months to complete this modification process. “Luckily, I found a good mechanic who helped me a lot,” she said.
Resale
The owner got the offers repeatedly, but she is not ready to sell it because she has prepared this one as per her taste and comfort.
