Green Line Project
To recap, the Green Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project was initiated by the former government of Pakistan. Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif performed the groundbreaking ceremony in 2016. The project went back and forth for a few years due to bureaucratic and operational delays. The new government took over the project and has finally made it happen.
The green line buses will become fully operational from the 10th of January. Currently, the buses are taking passengers to 11 stations.

Green Line bus service works just like the Metro bus service in Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar. Passengers can buy a ticket from any station and comfortably travel from one point to another. The Green Line buses have an extra feature of charging points for passengers to charge their phones.
The buses will transform the public transport in Karachi and make lives easier for the common people. If you are in the city, do travel on the Green Line buses and share your experience.
The Green Line bus system is the first phase of revolutionizing public transport in Karachi. Sources say that the government of Sindh will extend this project to red, yellow, orange, blue, and purple buses to cover 146 kilometres in Karachi. Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? How much of that is true? We’ll find out with time.
It was about time, but they should bought Mercedes or Setra , or Vanhool bus.
