Haval H6 Vs. Haval Jolion Vs. Hyundai Tucson FWD – A Comparison
Keeping our comparison series continue, we are going to compare recently-launched Haval H6 and Haval Jolion with Hyundai Tucson Front Wheel Drive (FWD). In this detailed comparison, we are going to compare the dimensions, engine, exterior, interior and safety features of these compact crossover SUVs.
Dimensions:
The dimensions of Haval H6 are 4653mm Long, 1886mm Wide, and 1724mm High, while Jolion is 4468mm Long, 1841mm Wide and 1619mm High. In comparison, Tucson’s dimensions are 4480mm Length, 1850mm Width, and 1660mm Height. So, H6 is the largest vehicle among these three.
Engine and Transmission:
The SUVs by Haval has a 1.5L Turbocharged engine, while Tucson comes with 2.0L Naturally Aspirated engine. H6 and Jolion produce 147hp, while Hyundai’s vehicle generates 155hp. And if we compare the torque, H6 has 230Nm, Jolion has 220Nm, and Tucson generates 196Nm. So, Tucson has more horsepower, while H6 and Jolion have more torque.
The SUVs by Haval have 7-Speed DCT, while Hyundai has installed 6-Speed Automatic, giving the former an upper hand in this regard. Furthermore, Haval and H6 have four Drive Modes, i.e., Standard, Sport, Economy, and Snow, while Tucson offers Tri-Mode Select option.

The Jolion and H6 have LED Headlights, while Tucson comes with LED Cornering Lights. The taillights, DRLS in all three are LED, while Fog lights in H6 are LED, and Halogen in Tucson, while Jolion doesn’t have this option. Haval offers Electric Height Adjustment Headlights, which is absent in Tucson. All three come with 18-inch Alloy Wheels. Haval offers 17-inch Space Saver Wheels in its vehicles, while Tucson has 18-inch Alloy Wheel as Spare Tyre.
Finally, these three have Keyless Entry.
Interior:
First, let’s mention the common features in these SUVs: Panoramic Sunroof, Wireless Charger, and Driver Lumbar Support. The Driving seats in Haval’s SUVs are 6-Way Electric, it is 8-Way Electric in Tucson. The passenger seat in H6 and Jolion is 4-way Electric, while it is not offered in Tucson FWD. The seats in Haval vehicles are Leather, while Hyundai offers Fabric ones in Tucson.
The Infotainment screen size in Haval’s SUVs is 10.25-inch, while its size in Tucson is 10.1-inch. All three have Dual Zone AC with Rear Vents.
Safety:
The standard safety features in these three SUVs are Hill Descent Assist (HDC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Electronic Stability Control (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Parking Brake, Overspeed Warning and Auto Hold. However, Haval has offered a number of extra safety features in its vehicles, including Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Auto Emergency Brake (AEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Traffic Sign Recognition, Cornering Brake Control, and Car Location Function. Furthermore, H6 and Jolion have 6 airbags, while Tucson has only 2.
So, it is easy to say that SUVs by Haval are safer for you and your family.
Price:
Last but not least, the most significant comparison. The price of Haval H6 is Rs6,295,000, while the rate of Jolion is Rs5,525,000. And the current rate of Hyundai Tucson FWD is Rs5,099,000. Hence, Tucson is the most affordable than its competitor.
