Haval H6 Vs. Haval Jolion Vs. MG HS – A Comparison
For the last couple of years, its raining compact crossover SUVs in Pakistan and the recent launch of Haval H6 and Haval Jolion are the recent examples. Sazgar Engineering, the local partner of Haval, started booking CBU units of these vehicles, and within a week, it was closed due to a positive response they got. Earlier, we have brought detailed specs and features of these two vehicles for you and today; we will compare these two with MG HS. In this comparison, one thing is vital that all three are CBU, as MG Pakistan has recently started assembling CKD units of HS, but they are not for sale as yet.
So, without any further delay, here is the comparison.
Dimensions:
Let’s start with dimensions; Haval H6 is 4653mm Long, 1886mm Wide and 1724mm High. In comparison, Jolion is 4468mm Long, 1841mm Wide and 1619mm High, while MG HS is 4574mm Long, 1876mm Wide and 1664mm High. So, it means H6 is the longest, widest and highest vehicle among these three, making it an excellent choice for a trip with family and friends.
Engine and Transmission:
These all three compact SUVs come with a 1.5L Turbocharged engine, but there is a difference between their horsepower and torque. H6 and Jolion produce 147hp, while HS produces 158hp. Meanwhile, H6 has 230Nm, Jolion produces 220Nm and HS generates 250Nm torque, making the MG’s vehicle more powerful than its competitors.
All three cars have 7-Speed DCT Transmissions and Front Wheel Drivetrains (FWD), making them equal in this department.
Exterior:
These vehicles have LED headlamps, Taillamps, Day Time Running Lights (DRLs) and Electric Height Adjustment in Headlamps. H6 has LED Foglamps, HS has Halogen ones, while this feature is not offered in Jolion. Also, all three have 18-inch Alloy Wheels and 17-inch Space Savers. Finally, Keyless Entry is offered in all three SUVs.
Interior:
The common interior features in these cars are Leather Seats, 6-Way Electric Driver Seat, 4-Way Electric Passenger Seat, Panoramic Sunroof, Push Start, Lumbar Support, and Auto Wiper. The size of the Infotainment Touchscreen is 10.2-inch, while HS offers this in 10.1-inch. Haval has offered Wireless Charger in its SUVs, while MG has not installed in HS.
All three offers Dual Zone AC with Rear AC Vents, making them equal in this category.
Safety:
The safety features all three shares are 6 Airbags, Auto Hold, Electronic Parking Brake, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Brake Assist (BA), Cornering Brake Control, Hill Descent Assist (HDA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), 360 Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Auto Emergency Brake (AEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Overspeed Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition.
The extra features in H6 and Jolion are Car Locating Function and Cornering Brake Control, while Roll Movement Intervention is only offered in Haval H6.
Price:
Now, the most important comparison, the price of Haval H6 is Rs6,295,000, while the rate of Jolion is Rs5,525,000. MG Pakistan recently increased the price of HS, with few new additional features, and now it costs Rs 5,749,000. This means Haval Jolion is the most affordable among these three.
