Hyundai Nishat Announces “Special Offer” On Elantra
The ongoing economic meltdown and its adverse effect on entire industry is not in disguise. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s already-struggling car industry is also among the affectees.
Depleting foreign exchange reserves urged the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to inflict import restrictions which in turn nudged the local car assemblers to announce back-to-back production cuts and price hikes. Furthermore, thousands of employees working in assembly plants also lost their jobs.
Auto assemblers in the country are still increasing their car prices. Surprisingly enough, customers also have to pay the difference even after the booking.
The Offer
In such a heinous situation, the new entrant, Hyundai Nishat comes with an amazing limited-time offer flaunting immediate delivery and a price lock. First, the customers who have purchased the Hyundai Elantra will not have to wait for delivery. Second, the price lock offer will protect them from any hike even after the booking of car.

I don’t understand why this Hyundai Elantra car didn’t overtake the Toyota Corola.
I guess Corola is overated
A woman in USA drove 1 million mile with this Elantra, with the 2.0L engine.
This is a durable and comfortable car.
Despite all marketing, Elantra failed to capture market and its old stock that is being disposed off. Initially built for 45 lacs now surpassed more than 6/7 Million. No car except Tucson of Hyundai got people attention and it also failed due late deliveries etc.

As a Corolla user, I can verify that the vehicle is not overrated at all, it serves its purpose, haul large families, five to six persons, and luggage with ease amid less frequent repairs that is why it is even used as a taxi too. The downtime is the least in this car category.
By the way, in Pakistan too several 11th generation Corollas, and even older generations shall be found that are clocking over 700,000 kilometers, so one Elantra doing that is not a very big deal. Besides, I guess even in the USA the Corolla is best in its class.
@Waqas
Firstly, the Corolla is not overrated, it is extremely durable and practical vehicle that is why even the Sportage has not been able to outsell it, it is able to travel over rough roads without requiring frequent repairs and carry immense luggage along with five to even six people. Secondly, in Pakistan several 11th generation Corollas and older models are already running over 700,000 kilometers, therefore, this one example is really minuscule next to Corolla to be used as a convincing point.

Don’t missread me, i recognize the value of Corolla, which is a good compact sedan.
But Corolla is 2013 model and Elantra a 2017, the gap in they launched is 4 years, for years is what long ago the international law to conceive and develope a car before launch.
Thus Corolla is becoming old.
That’s why elantra is better, Corolla is starting at 6 170 000 PKR where Elantra is starting for 6 600 000 PKR, a merely 430 000 PKR for a newer model and this gap is fullfilled buy the longer warranty of Elantra 4 years against 2 for Corolla .

Firstly, I am not misreading you. Secondly, how is Corolla old? It is new, it smells new and looks new, it is available as a zero-meter vehicle, besides, Corolla has cheaper parts, roomy space and is a go-anywhere kind of vehicle too.
At any rate, I myself have travelled in my Corolla over five inches deep potholes without damaging its underside and underbody, shall I be able to do it in Elantra? No, it has not a good ground clearance and its shape is too devilish too. Therefore, please, do not cite a newly designed shape factor making Elantra better because in the end parts cost factor is negating it and creating a major difference as regards prices of two vehicles.
PS This link is showing several Corollas with 300,000 and even 1,000,000 kilometers.
