Hyundai Tucson 4th Gen launched in India at INR 27 Lac

Where Pakistan’s auto industry is plunged into a severe economic crisis, the international industry is swelling – welcoming new cars after one another. Automakers around the globe also bear the brunt of COVID19 but came out of this web.

After Hyundai unveiled the latest fourth-generation Tucson in India in Sept 2020, the CKD unit of the car has also launched in India.

It should be noted that Pakistan still hosts the third generation of car.

Specs and Features

1- Dimension

The car is 4,630mm long, 1,865mm wide, and 1,665mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,755mm.

Mind you, the latest gen of car comes with a long wheelbase as compared to the model available around the globe, primarily in European countries.

2- Engine & Variants

Hyundai offers eight variants of car, platinum, and Signature, with two engine options – petrol and diesel.

The 2.0L cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine carries the capacity to produce 156hp and 192Nm of torque, mated with 6-speed automatic gearbox. Whilst, the 2.0L diesel engine produces 186hp of power and 416Nm of torque mated with 8-speed automatic gearbox with optional AWD.

3- Exterior

Coming to styling and design, dark chrome parametric front grill blending the LED DRLs exhibit an aggressive look. DRLs are only visible when turned on, whereas the LED lamps are positioned below the DRLs. Moreover, the taillamps completing the full-width elaborates the new design philosophy “Parametric Dynamics”.

4- Interior

Inside the cabin comes following features.

It is pertinent to mention that car is equipped with an ADAS suit offering front collision warning, front collision braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot collision avoidance assist, safe exit warning.

Here, the company also offers five driving modes including Eco, Normal, Sport, smart and HTRAC system with Multi terrain modes (Snow, Mud, Sand).

Price

Concerning the price, the base variant will cost INR 27.69 lac while the top variant comes with the price tag of INR 34.39 lac.

    Today Kia Sportage is selling more than Hyundai Tucson.
    When both the next generation will be launch it will be this 4th gen Tucson who will make more sales, the design is simply better, with cheaper price it will help it.
