Kia’s 2027 Telluride Revealed: Bigger, Bolder, and Still Boxy
Kia’s iconic three-row Telluride SUV is back with a new 2027 model, set to debut at the L.A. Auto Show. The refreshed design promises more space, sharper styling, and modern tech, making fans eager for its arrival at dealerships for the 2027 model year.
Bigger and Boxier: Design Updates
The 2027 Telluride retains the upright, boxy charm that made the original a hit. The second-generation Telluride design is 2.3 inches larger, but compensates well with a wheelbase that has been stretched by 2.7 inches. The overall length and wheelbase are a perfect match with the 2026 Hyundai Palisade, which the 2027 Kia Telluride has been compared to quite often.
Front and Rear Styling
The front end of the mid-size three-row SUV has a full-width front grille with signature vertical Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) in amber at the far ends. The rear end evokes a classic Range Rover, with two tall, narrow taillights and a wide-set “Telluride” script on the rear tailgate, completing the 2027 Kia Telluride’s elegant look.
Boxy Details and Off-Road Flair
From small square accents on each wheel well to tow hooks and knobby 18-inch Continental CrossContact tires in the X-Pro variant, the 2027 Telluride fully embraces its “boxy” persona while offering off-road capability.

Interior and Tech
The interior of the 2027 Kia Telluride is an elegant two-tone cabin with twin 12.3-inch screens mounted side-by-side: one for the instrument panel and one for infotainment. In the X-Pro spec, the same interior looks even sharper in a conventional black setup. It also comes with Forged Carbon, which, according to Kia, is a composite material made from chopped carbon fibre.

Under the Hood: What We Know
Kia has yet to reveal engine options or full specs, but anticipation is high. The L.A. Auto Show will provide the final details on pricing, trims, and performance.
