Motorway Police Seize Non-Custom Paid Goods Worth Millions on M-5
The Motorway Police (M-5) recovered non-custom-paid goods worth millions of rupees during an operation near Uch Sharif, according to spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed.
Suspicious Vehicle Intercepted
Motorway Police officers intercepted a suspicious Suzuki Cultus car with black-tinted windows. Upon inspection, the vehicle was found to be fully loaded with cigarette bundles.
Seizure and Arrests
During the operation, 1,050 bundles of non-custom-paid cigarettes were recovered. The total market value of the seized goods is estimated to be around Rs. 1 million.
Two suspects were arrested on the spot, and both the vehicle and seized goods were handed over to the Customs Anti-Smuggling Cell in Bahawalpur for further legal action.
