Back in June 2022, Peugeot Pakistan surprised us with a sudden price drop on its crossover SUV, Peugeot 2008. The company reduced the price for the base variant, Active, by Rs. 250,000. After the reduction Active variant was available for Rs. 4,999,000. But it seems that the offer is over now.
Back to the Old Price
The company shared an artwork on its Facebook page which shows that the company has gone back to the old price. As per the company, the car will now once again cost Rs. 5,250,000. “We have been receiving an overwhelming response on what the Peugeot 2008.” the company wrote.
Meanwhile, the second variant, Allure, will continue to cost Rs. 5,850,000.
The Possible Reason of Limited Time Offer
As per our sources, Lucky Motor corporation didn’t receive much positive response of the car after its launch. Hence, it decided to offer the reduced price on 2008 Active. “The major reason was that the size of the car was small while the price was quite high,” the sources added.
However, it seems that the company has started getting good response for the car and that is why it has decided to go back to original price.
The engine life of this cars is also limited in dublity and reliability.
