As the global automobile industry is embarked on to swap its roles – seeking electric technology in vehicles – the Japanese automaker Toyota is still busy developing hybrid cars.
The company is about to launch the all-new Prius 2022 in the mid of this month – clocking November 16, 2022 – somewhat earlier than what was expected. Adding more to the authenticity of the news, Toyota has officially confirmed the launch of the Prius. Earlier reports revealed that the car will be launched in 2023.
Again, the carmaker is focused on bringing Prius under the umbrella of a hybrid platform. Few of its spy shots have created a buzz among netizens. Following the front fascia, side and rear profile, and character lines, skilful car enthusiasts come with some images depicting how it actually looks like.
style and Designing
Coming to the design and styling of the all-new fifth-generation Toyota Prius 2022, Toyota’s newcomer follows the footsteps of its predecessor. In case the rendered pictures fit the actual looks, the front fascia of the car translates a sharp and sleek language. Smooth body styling mated with fewer character lines gives it a fancy and chic look.
Highlighting the price and performance, the new entrant in Toyota hybrid line up may compete with Toyota Corolla, Honda Insight, and Volkswagen Golf GTE. Things could also be different when the market is embarked on to say goodbye to petrol engines and welcoming a batch of electric vehicles around the world.
Though the company has not yet revealed much about the car, it is speculated that it may come with a 1.6 hybrid engine loaded with Toyota Safety Sense-based driver assist along with many other features.
