Honda Civic RS Hybrid Launched in PKR 81 Lacs
Honda Civic Hybrid, named Honda Civic e: HEV, has been launched in Malaysia today. According to media reports, the sedan is the top-of-the-line variant in the 11th generation Civic range. Honda Malaysia has launched the car at RM166,500 (PKR 810,575), a reasonable price for a hybrid vehicle.
Dimensions
The C-segment sedan is 4,678mm long, 1,802mm wide, and 1,415mm tall with a 2,734mm wheelbase. Furthermore, it has a ground clearance of 128mm. The incorporation of hybrid components has made the car heavier by around 100 kilograms, and now it weighs 1,445 kilograms. The vehicle has a 72-cell lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1.05KWh, weighing 37 kilograms.
Power
The electric motor in the new Civic produces 181hp and 315Nm of torque. The power is sent to the front wheels mated with electric continuously variable transmission (E-CVT). The motor is paired with a 2.0 liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine, which produces 141hp at 6,000rpm and 189Nm of torque.
The new Honda Civic hybrid reaches from 0 to 100 in 7.9 seconds.

The company is offering new colours for the car, including Ignite Red Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Platinum White Pearl.
Honda Atlas launched the 11th generation of Civic in Pakistan earlier this year. The top-of-the-line variant in Pakistan is RS Turbo, and there are no hints of the launch of the HEV variant in Pakistan by the company.
