On Tuesday, Officials have reported that a gang involved in the street crimes have been busted by the Capital City Police. The gang had been notorious for the street crimes from quite a time. Twenty stolen motorbikes have also been recovered from the gang.
City Police have arrested Javed and Qazi Saleem, both of the culprits were active bike snatchers and lifters, Zahoor Babar Afridi, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations of Peshawar.
The officials updated that they had recovered 20 motorbikes which were either stolen or snatched from various parts of the city from this gang.
It was also revealed upon investigation that the accused were not only guilty of stealing the bikes but they also used to sell the stolen vehicles in the local markets of Peshawar and Khyber districts, SSP briefed the media.
SSP further informed the media that based on the intelligence information, the police is continuously conducting raids on a regular basis in the different parts of the provincial capital. And for this purpose Policemen have been deployed in different parts of the city as well.
