Honda North America released the first teaser images for the upcoming 2024 11th-generation mid-size sedan; THE HONDA ACCORD. Honda defines the new generation as “Sporty, modern, smart, and comfortable.” From the first teasers, it is evident that there is a complete overhaul on the interior and exterior.
A new hexagonal wide and bold front grill with new taillights and a modern tail-end with new taillights are visible. While there is a more sophisticated and sleek exterior styling comparing the previous generation, and then there is a high-tech interior. As per Honda, there will be built-in google integration into the largest ever touchscreen infotainment with a size of 12.3 inches. Expect a turbocharged as well as hybrid stuff under the hood.
Development by Honda Accord 11th Gen
Like the 11th generation Civic and the 6th generation CR-V, the 11th generation Accord is also designed and developed by Honda North America, the largest single market for Honda’s main product line. The official reveal of the 11th Generation Accord is next month, with production and deliveries in US & Canada early next year.
The Expected base price would be around $27,000 while fully loaded near $38,000 for the US customers.
In the US for last 46 years, since its first generation’s launch, Accord has remained the benchmark for the sedan market. Honda Accord remained in the top 10 best cars by the famous “Car & Driver” magazine 31 times. Statistically, Honda has sold almost 14 Million units in the US since its first generation. It means Honda sold one accord every 2 minutes for the last 46 years. Historically, Accord is the first model Honda started manufacturing outside Japan in the US almost 40 years ago.
