Specs & Features of 7-Seater Oshan X7
Changan’s first crossover SUV, Changan Oshan X7, has been launched in two variants — Oshan X7 FutureSense and Oshan X7 Comfort. One is a 5-seater car, and the other is a 7-seater. We are here with the detailed specifications of the 7-seater version, the Oshan X7 Comfort.
Size
Oshan X7 Comfort is the same size as Oshan X7 FutureSense. Both are 4730 mm in length, 1870 mm in width, and 1720 mm in height. That means space could be compromised in the 7-seater Comfort variant.
Power
Oshan X7 Comfort is powered with a 1.5-litre turbocharged TGDI Euro-6 engine that produces 185 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. The car has a 7-speed DCT with four modes (ECO, Comfort, Sport, Custom).
There’s a start/stop technology that automatically turns the engine off when the car is stationary and improves the fuel efficiency of the vehicle.
Looks
Oshan X7 Comfort has aggressive and sporty styling. The front profile features bi-beam projector headlights, continuous running matrix LED DRLs, and a bold surge-flo grille. There are electrically adjustable, retractable, and heated side-view mirrors with integrated turn signals and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The rear profile features LED infinity tail lights, high-mounted brake lamp, rear fog lights, and reverse lamps.
Features
The crossover has a smart proximity entry feature that senses the remote key in your hand or pocket and automatically unlocks the car doors, unfolds the mirrors, and turns the headlights on. There’s also a smart exit feature that works on the same lines. When you leave the car with the remote key, the car doors are automatically locked, and the windows and sunroof are closed.
Inside the luxurious cabin, we have the FAUX perforated leather seats with 6-way powered driver and front passenger seats. The instrument cluster is a 7-inch digital LCD screen.
Other interior elements include a 10.25-inch HMI (Human Machine Interface), D-shaped sporty steering wheel with media and cruise control buttons, automatic touch climate control system, and panoramic sunroof.
Safety
Oshan X7 Comfort is fully-equipped with safety features like four airbags, rear camera, on-board car diagnostic system, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), rear parking sensors, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), TC (Traction Control), ESP (Electronic Stability Program), and Hill Hold and Descent Control.
Price
The ex-factory price of the 7-seater Oshan X7 Comfort variant is Rs. 5,750,000.
Competition
Oshan X7 Comfort has two 7-seater competitors in the market, Toyota Fortuner and DFSK Glory 580 Pro.
For the price tag of 57.5 lacs, we think the Oshan X7 Comfort is a pretty great deal. What do you think about the 7-seater crossover?
Excellent car, they should offer missing safety features (in comparison to 5 seater) at additional price for 7 seater, that would make more sense.
