Traffic flow across major routes in Pakistan — including the motorways, Islamabad-Rawalpindi twin cities, and Lahore — has largely returned to normal after a religio-political party announced the end of its protest late Monday night.

Open Routes:

- 26 Number Chowk — Open
- Srinagar Highway — Open
- Islamabad Expressway — Traffic flowing normally
Public Transport:
- Orange Line Metro Bus — Service resumed
- Green Line Metro Bus — Service resumed
- Red Line Metro Bus (Islamabad–Rawalpindi) — Fully operational
Authorities have also urged citizens to follow official traffic updates and avoid unnecessary travel during rush hours as traffic density remains moderate in some areas.
Motorway Situation
The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) confirmed that all major motorways are open and clear:
- M1 – Peshawar to Islamabad
- M2 – Islamabad to Lahore
- M3 – Lahore to Abdul Hakeem
- M4 – Faisalabad to Multan
No diversions or blockages have been reported, and heavy vehicles are now moving without restrictions.
Lahore Traffic Update
Traffic in Lahore has returned to normal after the protest ended. The GT Road from Gujranwala to Rawalpindi and all major city routes are open, with smooth vehicle movement reported across the city.
As life returns to routine on the roads, commuters are breathing a sigh of relief after days of disruption. Officials remain vigilant to maintain stability and prevent any renewed congestion.
