Considering the trend of low sales and economic uncertainty, it was only inevitable that the automobile manufacturers would continue to increase the prices of their vehicles. And recently, Al-Haj FAW has increased the prices of its vehicle lineup with a great difference.
The company has forwarded the circular in this regard to its dealers across Pakistan, see it below:

The advance tax for the 1000cc FAW X-PV is PKR15,000, whereas it is PKR25,000 for 1300cc FAW V2.
FAW has explicitly mentioned under their price list,
The prices of all FAW Vehicles are subject to change without notice and prices prevailing at the time of delivery shall apply if rates of existing duties / taxes are increased or new duties / taxes are livied by the Government then such increases would be paid by the customer prior to delivery of the vehicles.
The previous prices of FAW vehicles are as follow:
- FAW V2: PKR 1499000
- X-PV Standard: PKR 1189000
- X-PV Dual AC: PKR 1249000
- X-PV Power Edition: PKR 1289000
- Carrier deckless: PKR 1034000
- Carrier flatbed: PKR 1044000
- Carrier standard: PKR 1054000
