The driving license in Punjab, especially in Lahore, has been the talk of the town for the last couple of months. The issue became in limelight after an accident in Lahore where six people of a family died after a crash with a car being driven by a teenager. The incident instantly spread over social media, and police and caretaker government announced to take strict action against the underage drivers.
The operation led to a huge influx of candidates for new driving licenses across Lahore as police announced that an FIR would be registered against underage and license-less drivers. To meet the rush, traffic police announced different offers for the candidates, including learner permit availability at all police stations, issuance of learner permits, and renewal of driving licenses online. Furthermore, the force shared the process of getting a license on their Twitter handle, and today we are going to share the complete details of the e-sign test, which is essential before the driving test.
E-Sign Test
In a video shared on traffic police’s Twitter handle, an official explains the whole process. He showed a candidate taking a live e-sing test at a Khidmat center, where the person is answering ten multiple-choice questions. To pass the test, the individual must answer at least five questions correctly.
During the test, different questions regarding traffic signs, road conditions, and other driving instructions. The test takes two minutes, and the result is announced on the spot after completion.
