This update came after months of anticipation. And days after we reveal that IMC is gearing up for the ground breaking development, the company has confirmed it with a 6 sec sneak peek.

The company recently treated its audience to a tantalizing teaser released on various social media platforms, heralding the arrival of a greener future with the introduction of Toyota Hybrid Electric.

The star of the show is reported to be the locally manufactured Corolla Cross Hybrid, a model that marks Toyota’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly driving in the Pakistani market.

Speculation about Toyota’s foray into the hybrid market has been circulating for months, with numerous rumored launch dates causing excitement among automotive enthusiasts. Earlier this year, glimpses of a test unit of the locally assembled Corolla Cross Hybrid in Karachi only added fuel to the speculation fire.

CBU Corolla Cross

The Corolla Cross was initially introduced as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), and its presence on Pakistani roads has already piqued interest. Boasting a 1798cc hybrid engine, the vehicle delivers a powerful performance with 168hp at 3600 RPM and 305Nm torque at 3600 RPM. While the CBU version made an impact, the eagerly awaited locally assembled variant is expected to further solidify Toyota’s position in the growing market for hybrid vehicles.

As the launch date draws near, the anticipation among consumers and automotive enthusiasts is palpable. The Corolla Cross’s arrival in the midst of 2023 is a testament to Toyota’s strategic vision and dedication to bringing cutting-edge, environmentally conscious vehicles to the Pakistani market.
