Looking out at night and seeing nothing past a foot of distance is a common thing for Pakistanis in this weather. Especially for Lahoris, fog and smog combine to make us feel like we are living in the 7th season of Game of Thrones. In times like these, it is important for us all to drive safely.
Fog lights help see a bit clearer through the thick, dense fog at night, but they are not enough.to take it one step further, we need “yellow paper.” You may have seen some cars on the road with yellow paper on their headlights and wondered what it’s all about. The truth is that yellow paper can do wonders in reducing the glare caused by headlights during this foggy season. It filters out some of the blue and white light emitted by headlights, which can cause a lot of glare and make it difficult for other drivers to see. This is especially important when visibility is already limited by the fog.

The yellow paper is an easy, cheap and temporary solution to a life-threatening problem. You can simply visit any auto store and ask them to put this yellow sheet on your headlights. It’s a small and easy step that can make a big difference.
