We are going to briefly look at the 2nd generation Toyota Fortuner and the 4th generation Nissan Pathfinder. The 2nd generation Toyota Fortuner was unveiled in the mid of 2015. It was unveiled along with Toyota Hilux Revo. The Toyota Fortuner, just like the Toyota Hilux Revo, is based on the “Keen Look” design language, similar to that of the new Toyota Corolla (E170). The New Fortuner has a differently designed interior when compared to the Hilux. Although, both the Hilux Revo and Fortuner have similar chassis, transmission and engine line-up. The Fortuner is expected to be launched in Pakistan soon. Its price is not yet confirmed but it should cost between 5-6 million Pakistani rupees.

The Nissan on the other hand went up on sale in 2012. This generation of Nissan Pathfinder received two updates: first in 2014 and 2017. The Pathfinder has the same platform as the infinity QX60, Maxima, Quest, Murano and Altima. Nissan Pathfinder is not manufactured in Pakistan. It costs about 6-7 million rupees.
Exterior:
Both SUVs are beautiful in their own way. The Fortuner comes with slim LED lights, which give it a cool look. Toyota made the bumper quite high. The main grille is pulled slightly up, making it merge with the LED lights. Another thing that gives this vehicle a sharp look is the “V” shaped Chrome brackets that run alongside the grille. The rear slim lights make the vehicle look muscular. There is no doubt that Toyota has designed a really nice looking SUV. It has a wheelbase measuring 2,745mm, Length of 4,795mm, width of 1,855mm and a height of 1,835-1,850mm (depending on the variant).
Nissan Pathfinder has received quite an update. It has V-motion grille, nicely shaped lights with LED daytime running lights. This gives Nissan Pathfinder, a rugged look. This SUV has a 2,900mm wheelbase, length of 5,009 mm, width 1,961mm and height 1,768mm.
The Fortuner has a smaller wheelbase and is shorter than the Pathfinder.
Interior:
Fortuner has a newly designed interior, which is quite different from the Hilux. It has 7 seats, the two rear seats are good for Kids, though not comfortable for people who are tall. There is enough knee room for passengers at the back seats. Fortuner has air condition vents for the back and power outlet as well. It has also got a really nice multi-functional steering.
The Nissan Pathfinder is longer than Fortuner and therefore has more legroom for people at the back. The rear seats at the end are quite comfortable. The dashboard is modern looking and comes with many new features. The steering wheel is also multi-functional. It has bigger cup holders which can accommodate mug handles. There are two USB ports in the front as well.
Over all, both SUVs come with really attractive, comfortable and spacious interior.

Both cars are good in their own way, Toyota Fortuner has a less price range when compared to the Pathfinder so it’s far more affordable for all the 4×4 lovers. Toyota has made a nice looking SUV that offers quite a lot for its price. Toyota is known for building cars that have great off-road capabilities.
Verdict: For Pakistanis, Toyota Fortuner is a quite a decent choice, given its affordable price bracket and functionality that is quite much similar to Nissan Pathfinder.

Exactly.
Can we please do another comparison piece between the Fortuner and the spaceship Enterprise from Star Trek :p
Why read it? If you do not like it.
Because one can only know what’s in the article after reading it.
And the effect is maybe enhanced because of the viscosity.
Do we even have path finder?? if not then why the comparison?
