0 8,260

2025 is hitting the gas pedal HARD. Seriously, the last 2.5 months have seen more new car launches than the entire first half of 2024. Yeah, you read that right. Turns out, with the economy finally stabilizing, automakers are dropping new rides like they’re hot. So, here is a list of car launches in Pakistan in 2025 so far.

After the boom of 2019, when multiple new cars entered the market, we got hit by COVID-19, supply chain disruptions, and political instability. This resulted in slow launches, price hikes, and even some automakers halting production.

But 2025 is giving a different story! With signs of economic stability returning, car manufacturers are regaining confidence, and the industry is back in action. In just the first 2.5 months of 2025, we’ve seen more car launches than in the first 6 months of 2024! The momentum is strong, and if things keep going this way, we might be headed toward another golden era for Pakistan’s car market.

2025 Car Launches in Pakistan – The List

So, let’s take a look at all the new cars that have arrived in Pakistan so far!

Hyundai Sonata N Line – Pakistan’s Fastest Sedan!

Power: 290 HP | Your wallet will need therapy after this one

Price: PKR 15,890,000

If you thought Pakistan’s locally assembled sedans were all about comfort and fuel efficiency, the Hyundai Sonata N Line is here to prove you wrong! This beast of a sedan produces a jaw-dropping 390 HP, making it the most potent locally assembled sedan in the country’s history.

But raw power isn’t the only thing that sets the Sonata N Line apart. It’s also the most expensive locally assembled sedan you can buy, packing premium features, aggressive styling, and a performance-oriented drive. Hyundai has clearly taken a risky step and played an entirely different game, but the outcome seems to be positive.

Pro tip: Don’t challenge N Line to a race with Civic RS unless you’re ready to cry in your rearview mirror.

JAC T9 – A New Challenger for Toyota Revo!

Competes With: Toyota Revo |

Price: PKR 10,500,000

The second vehicle on the list of 2025 car launches in Pakistan is the JAC T9 Hunter. Ghandhara Motors introduced this car because they got guts. JAC is already a Chinese company with no prior cars or personal cars in the market, and on top of that, they introduced their vehicle in the competition, the Toyota Revo, which is considered an unbeatable car in the market.

What makes the JAC T9 unique?

  • 1.4 million cheaper than the base trim Revo.
  • It has a better-looking and more 2025’ish interior compared to its Toyota rival, which has had no upgrades since 2017.

Now, only time will tell if JAC T9 will outperform Revo or not.

Kia Sportage L – 2024-25’s Most Anticipated Car Launch

5th Gen: New generation, upgraded powertrain, new interior, boomerang stylings, up-to-date safety, and hi-tech features with ADAS.

Price: PKR 12,850,000 (top trim, HEV variant)

The launch of the Kia Sportage L was one of the most awaited events in 2024-25. After six years of the 4th generation, Kia introduced the 5th generation Sportage L (L for long wheelbase). This new model brings fresh upgrades, including the HEV trim, which adds hybrid technology to the lineup

. The most interesting fact is that the Sportage L, available in Pakistan, is the same version as the international model, making it a highly anticipated choice for SUV buyers looking for premium features but not through a Chinese manufacturer. However, a good, successful vehicle and international standard crossover from a Korean brand comes at a cost, and that’s your money!

MG HS Trophy 2025 – Trophy Glow-ups

MG HS Trophy

Updates: Headlights, exterior tweaks, blue-and-white interior 🌟

Price: PKR 8,399,000

After 4.2 years of “same old, same old,” MG finally gave the HS a glow-up that’s worth talking about. The 2025 Trophy edition is sleeker and sharper than the previous version.

But the real highlight is the interior updates – MG has introduced a new blue and white color combination, along with a new 12.1-inch infotainment screen, giving the HS a fresh vibe. While the facelift isn’t a massive overhaul, especially with the new exterior, similar to MG HS PHEV, it brings some much-needed freshness to one of Pakistan’s most popular crossovers.

GuGo Box – An EV Checkmate!

Probably the only car to offer autonomous parking in the segment | Rebranded As: Nammi 01

Price: PKR 7,700,000 (top trim)

GuGo first entered the Pakistani market with the GiGi. Now, they’ve followed up with another launch – the GuGo Box, an all-electric EV hatchback that offers unmatched features in its price range.

What makes the GuGo Box special?

  • It comes packed with high-end features at just PKR 7.7 million, whereas other local big brands charge over 1.2 crore for similar tech, e.g., auto-parking and ADAS.

Further, if you want to know the car inside out, this is the place to go.

Kia EV9 – Kia’s Most Expensive Electric SUV

Kia’s most expensive vehicle in Pakistan | Size: Bigger than your ego (and a Prado)

Price: PKR 43,200,000

If you thought EVs were just about small city cars, Kia’s latest launch will change your mind. The Kia EV9 is an ultra-premium all-electric SUV, and it’s officially the most expensive brand-new Kia car available in Pakistan.

Here’s why it stands out:

  • It’s even more significant than a Toyota Prado in dimensions.
  • It packs top-tier luxury and technology that competes with German brands.
  • Despite its PKR 4.3 crore price tag, it offers the same level of premium features as German EVs that cost 6-8 crore!

Upcoming Car Launches we Know so Far!

In 2025, several companies are set to introduce new electric vehicles (EVs) to Pakistan’s automotive market. Isuzu plans to launch the new generation D-Max, featuring a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine producing 187 hp and 450 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

  • United Motors is preparing to introduce Jetour’s premium SUVs, including the Dashing and X70 Plus, both equipped with advanced technology and safety features.
  • Nishat Group is set to launch Chery’s electric and plug-in hybrid SUVs, such as the Omoda E5 and Jaecoo J7 PHEV, offering eco-friendly alternatives to traditional vehicles.
  • Additionally, Dewan Farooque Motors plans to introduce the DYQ1033BEV1R-H EV, Pakistan’s first ever officially available electric truck that will compete with Revo and JAC T9.

If the first two months of 2025 are anything to go by, this year is going to be huge for Pakistan’s auto industry. The market is stabilizing, and manufacturers are once again introducing exciting new cars across multiple segments.

From Pakistan’s fastest sedan (Sonata N Line) to a bold new pickup truck (JAC T9), a refreshed crossover (MG HS Trophy 2025), a game-changing budget EV (GuGo Box), and an ultra-premium electric SUV (Kia EV9), there’s something for everyone.
