When it comes to car insurance, getting a policy is a tedious task. It takes anywhere between 8 hours to 2 days from filing the insurance application to getting the application approved, not to forget the cumbersome paperwork involved.
Keeping the value of time in mind Jubilee General Insurance launched the first ever Mobile App for Motor Insurance in Pakistan an event on Friday at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi.
The app was launched as a part of an initiative to improve the overall operations of the company. The launch of the app makes Jubilee Insurance a pioneer in the region for using the mobile platform to underwrite vehicle insurance in an innovative and hassle free way.
Speaking at the event, Tahir Ahmed, Managing Director Jubilee General Insurance said “Jubilee General Insurance is relentless in its drive to keep pace with the technological advances and innovate to provide user-friendly services for its customers. In line with this spirit, we have launched our motor mobile app, which will give our customers an enhanced and hassle-free buying experience”.
The app allows the user to calculate the insurance premium by inputting the model and market value of the car, read terms and conditions, upload photos and pay the premium either on spot by using Credit/Debit Card or by ordering payment pickup from home/office. This makes the whole process instantaneous.
The app will initially be available to the Marketing & Sales staff of the Jubilee Insurance with plans to roll-out the app for consumers in the coming months. The app is currently available on Android only.
