Honda bikes are considered the most reliable wheelers for daily commuting, but does the company need to improve its standards with obsolete models?

Absolutely!

In keeping with the tradition of Atlas Honda launching new models each year in August and September, this time again, the new CD70 and CG125 models were revealed with no change. Sarcasm aside, do we consider a ‘new sticker’ a revolutionary change?

You are up to deciding on your own!

First Look Review

After a one-hour spanning digital transmission of new-year bikes from Atlas Honda, we landed upon two models of CD70 and CG125 ranging in color options of black and red with merely a graphic design change. Although these bikes are the most common commodity in Pakistan for their affordability and practical features, don’t you think upgrades keep a product state-of-the-art?

Anyway, we get the same specifications, ergonomics, and utilities without any performance upgrades. Whether they are halogen lamps, cluster panels, seat positioning, or chrome linings, these bikes offer no change.

The ‘Revolutionary’ Stickers

2025 CD125 represents two new stickers, each on a red and black bike. The red bike sticker now gets a yellow color with silver streaks, which means a blend of speed and happiness, whereas the checkered flag shows dominance on a racetrack. However, the black bike comes with a blue in combination with a silver sticker complemented with a checkered stripe. The same pattern can be seen on the Honda CD70, too.

In extra context, these bikes give an average of 30 to 40 km/l, which looks quite affordable to economy buyers. At Pkr 234,000, these might be outdated models, but they provide practical utility to commuters looking for the best fuel economy, minimal maintenance, and an affordable fee structure.
