Chery SUVs (Tiggo 2, Tiggo 3, or Tiggo 8) Coming to Pakistan

After the launch of a few sedans, the Pakistani auto industry is back with more SUVs. Another Chinese car brand partnering with a local company. Chery Automobile Co. Ltd. in partnership with Ghandhara Nissan Ltd. (GNL) is all set to enter the Pakistani market. GNL is reportedly looking to open Chery 3S dealerships across the country. The company has invited interested individuals and business entities to apply before the 30th of July. 

The news of Chery SUVs in Pakistan is not new. Our sources reported this a while ago, and we covered it in December last year. Back then, the buzz was about Gandhara Nissan working on a deal with Chery to bring their SUVs in the country. The deal has been worked out, and the company is actively looking for potential parties for Chery 3S dealerships. Moreover, GNL has already started making the required changes to its existing vehicle assembly plant to accommodate the assembly of Chery vehicles.

The Chinese automaker has a range of luxury SUVs. GNL will be working on the Tiggo platform, which means any of the Chery Tiggo series will be introduced in the Pakistani auto market. The most anticipated modes are Tiggo2, Tiggo 3, or Tiggo 8. Let’s see which one makes it across the border.

Ghandhara Nissan Limited (GNL) is a well-known Karachi-based truck and bus manufacturer. The two companies have joined forces to make Chery SUVs a success in Pakistan. Their tentative plan is to launch Chery’s mid and premium range of vehicles by early next year

    Chinese vehicles have stormed the market with no credible further in sight. Until and unless Inland 3S facilities are not developed, aftersale services would be a big issue for buyers. Same was observed in case of MG, Haval etc. Buyers be wise and no emotional deal please.
