As usual, there is no reason mentioned for the fresh price hikes. Although the production and assembly of bikes are largely done in Pakistan, companies like Yamaha and Suzuki import major components of their bikes. Yamaha Pakistan imports import parts like engines, meaning its rate is directly linked to the dollar rate. Furthermore, the curbs on imports, including CKD kits, may have affected production, hence, the price increase.
Whatever the reason, the companies, especially bike companies, must share the reasons for the bike price increases so that the consumer can know why the bikes are so expensive. It will be the last Yamaha bike price increase for this year, and we hope 2023 will be a good year for the auto industry.
What is your take on the Yamaha bike price fresh increase? Are these hikes justified? Please share your thoughts in the comments section.
