Update:
The Government of Pakistan has decreased the rates of oil products by up to PKR 6.
As per the details, the new rate of petrol is 113.24 per liter. Moreover, the rates of High-Speed Diesel and light-Speed Diesel have been set at PKR 127.14 and PKR 91.89 per liter respectively. Lastly, the rate of Kerosene oil has been set at PKR 99.57.

On Friday 30-7-2019, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended the Federal Government to decrease the rates of petroleum products by up to PKR 8 per liter.
As per the details, the authority has asserted that the government should decrease the price of petrol by PKR 4.59 per liter and that of diesel by PKR 7.67per liter. Moreover, it is also recommended by OGRA to slash the price of kerosene oil and light-speed diesel by PKR 4.27 and PKR 5.63 per liter. The suggestions have been made due to fluctuations in the prices of oil products in the international market.
New prices will come into effect from 1st September 2019.
The current prices are as follow:
Petrol: Rs.117.83 per liter
High-speed diesel: Rs. 132.47 per liter
Kerosene oil: Rs.103.84 per liter
Light-speed diesel: Rs.97.52 per liter
