Are We Getting Honda HR-V in Pakistan?

1 3,956

An exciting news for Honda HR-V lovers, or maybe not; we are not sure as yet. But anyway, here is it, a test unit of a car has been spotted on local roads. The pictures show a totally wrapped crossover SUV, and it doesn’t give any hint which car it is. Although the number plate is visible, but Excise website shows that registration of this specific car is still in process.

What We Think!?

So, the question arises, which car is this? By the looks of it, it is a test unit. So, we decided to do some of our own research and discussion. And as per our opinion, it could be Honda HR-V. Now, you may ask how we reached this conclusion? Here is our explanation.

After cross-checking the photos, we think that the rear pillar, spoiler, and alloy wheel design match the Honda HR-V. But, once again, it is speculation, and we may be wrong. There is no official confirmation by Honda. However, our sources told us earlier that Honda Atlas is planning to launch two vehicles this year; the first one is a BR-V, and the second one is, most probably, HR-V.

Here are the pictures, tell us what you think.

One important thing to remember is that Honda HR-V’s latest generation has been revealed in the US, and it will be launched by the end of this year. So, this spotted unit – if it is HR-V – is not that one; rather, it is a different vehicle.

Anyways, it would be very exciting if Honda launched this car in Pakistan because it would be the company’s first entry into the crossover SUV category. Although Honda claims that BR-V is a crossover SUV, but a number of automobile experts call it an MPV. But it is another debate; tell us what you think about this spotted unit. Is it really a car from Honda? Is it HR-V? Share your thoughts in the comments section.

It will be the same Honda CR-V sold in Japan and Europe.
It is not the first SUV entry of Honda in Pakistan.
Honda CR-V is sold in Pakistan with 7 seats, it was expensive in the beginning but today with the expensive Haval and MG, well i think it isn’t that much expensive anymore.
For the CR-V that will be sold in the USA it will be sold in Europe as ZR-V, maybe in the future Honda may launch zr-V as the competitor of Corolla Cross ?
