“Haval H6 HEV is a Very Powerful Car”, – First Look Review

And we are here with the first look review of Haval H6 HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle). Earlier, Pakistan received petrol variant, however this is the only H6 HEV in the country right now, stationed at Haval dealership in DHA, Karachi.

This is the 3rd Generation 2022 model. It is pertinent to mention that Haval is one of the leading companies that are working on autonomous driving and automation in its cars. And this particular HEV come with these latest options.

Brief History 

If we talk about this car, its first generation was launched in 2011 which was a great success in Chinese market. The second generation came in 2017 and this under-review car is the 3rd generation.

Engine and Transmission 

The car comes with 1.5L Turbocharged engine and 130Kw motor with a combined horsepower of 245 and impressive torque of 530Nm. It means the car has excellent power under the hood.

The engine is mated with Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT).

Exterior

The front look of the car is very stylish, bulky and different from standard H6. The car has Honeycombed front grille extended below the light and with a lot of chrome. The headlights are LED with Projection headlamps along with LED Foglamps.

At the front bumper, the car has Front Parking Sensors and Chrome line on the lower lip. Meanwhile, the bonnet has very prominent character lines.

At the side, the character lines are again very visible from front to the rear. It comes with 19-inch Black Alloy Wheels. The double-tone Side View Mirrors come with LED indicators and a Camera. And the car also has a Panoramic Sunroof.

The rear of the car is quite similar to standard H6, except the High-Mounted Brake Lamps. You will also see LED Brake Lamps, Haval logo, Auto Trunk, Rear Camera, Rear Parking Sensors and Black Diffuser. The boot space of the car is quite good as you can put two big suitcases in it. You will also find Tyre Repairing Kit but not Spare Tyre in the trunk.

Interior

The H6 HEV has Keyless Entry and the first thing you will see its steering which is quite similar to standard H6. The steering is tilt and telescopic with Audio Controls. The headroom and legroom are quite ample in the car.

The seats are Electrically Adjustable with very Soft Cushioning.  The dashboard design is very modern where leather is used extensively. The Instrument Cluster of the car is a digital screen where you can see Battery Life, Speed Display, Gear Indicator and Power Gauge.

The size of Infotainment Screen is 12.3-inch which is very responsive. The car has 22 Autonomous Options including Auto Parking and Reversing. “The car can reverse itself for 50 meters and parked parallelly,” the owner said.

Furthermore, it has 360-Degree Camera, Automatic Parking Brake, Eco Idling Function and Fast Wireless Charges. The car comes with Dual Digital Climate Control with Rear AC vents. You will find a lot of Storage Spaces in doors, arm rest, glove box and central console.

Safety Features

This HEV has a lot of safety features including front, pillar and curtain Airbags, Lane Assist System, Side Assist System, and Traffic Sign Information. The other safety features in this car are Downhill Assist, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and ABS. In short, the car is very safe for you and your family.

Expected Price

The expected price of this car is Rs7.7million and it is expected that Sazgar Engineering will start its local assembly in the near future.

    It is not powerful, is an SUV and with a 1.5T ENGINE don’t overexagerated, we have Porsche cayenne, Macan, BMW X5, X7, Mercedes Gle, GLS, Gl, Audi Q7 with V6, V8 and 6 cylinder in line engine (for the connaisseur) as very powerful SUV.
    And the price they are clearly looting people better buy the Proton X-70 way cheaper and better.
