The surge in sales has largely been influenced by improved consumer sentiment, stable prices, and favorable financing conditions, following a period of economic uncertainty.

According to data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) report, the total number of motorcycles sold in Pakistan in May 2025 was 150,175 units, representing a 26% increase year-on-year. Of this, Atlas Honda‘s share dominated with 130,240 units, a 26% increase from the previous year, further cementing its leadership in the domestic motorcycle market. In comparison, competitors such as Paki Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) sold 2,854 units, while sales from other brands totaled 15,216 units.
Coming back to Atlas, the company has achieved record-breaking motorcycle sales this month, marking the highest sales in the company’s history. This surge is likely driven by the country’s economic stability, along with Honda’s decision not to raise bike prices since August 2023. Another key factor is Honda’s unmatched resale value. No other brand can compete with the resale value of the CD70 and CG125, which makes them the first choice for buyers looking for a 70cc or budget-friendly 125cc motorcycle.
The relatively low initial price tag of models like the Honda CD70 further adds to their appeal, especially among first-time buyers and those in search of an economical daily commuter.
Other Key Insights from the Latest PAMA Report
Despite Honda’s market lead, Yamaha has also made notable strides, recording its highest sales since December 2023, with 597 units sold in May 2025. While these figures are a small fraction compared to Honda’s sales, but that’s the highest sales Yamaha has ever made since December 2023.
