In a kind of a recall, Honda Atlas has recalled some of its cars for airbag change. According to an official statement, the company said, we prioritize your safety above everything else. “If you own below mentioned Honda models, you are eligible for a free airbag replacement service,” the company said.
And these models are:
- Honda Civic Oriel (Reborn) 2006-2012
- Honda CRV 2008-2011
- Honda Accord 2004-2012
So, once again, if you own any of these cars, visit the nearest Honda 2S or 3S dealership to avail this free service.
Now, the question arises why Honda Atlas has recalled these old models. The possible answer to this is that with time the airbags may leak gas and not work properly; hence, the company has asked the owners to bring them back. The airbags are the biggest safety tool in the cars in case of an accident, and such recalls are a good gesture by the car company.
Previous Honda Atlas Recall
This is not the first recall by Honda Atlas; the company took the same step back in February 2021. The company’s recall was for the cars with faulty propeller motors. The advertisement said that the owners of the following cars can contact the nearest Honda 3S & 2S dealership to get a FREE replacement of the said component:
- 2018 Honda Accord
- 2018-19 Honda Civic
- 2018 Honda BR-V
What is an “Automotive Recall”?
At the time of production, any part of the car could remain sub-standard, causing issues to the end-users.
