Lahore City Traffic Police have been taking strict action against driving with a license as heavy fine of Rs. 2,000 for the violators. Last year, the police issued tickets worth Rs. 2,507,47 to citizens driving without a license. It means that acquiring it is highly necessary. Many of us don’t have time to physically visit the centers of traffic police to schedule an appointment due to office timings or other issues.
To resolve this problem of citizens, the police have shared the procedure to set your appointment for a driving test online. In a small video on its Twitter handle, the force told the people how to book the appointment through the “Rasta App.”
Setting a Driving Test Appointment
The citizens just have to follow these steps:
- Open the Rasta App and press the Schedule Appointment Icon
- There are three options, select the Driving Test Appointment
- The individual needs to enter their CNIC, select the district
- Then Select the Driving Test type, i.e., LTV, HTV, or motorcycle/car
- After that, they will choose the location/center for the test, and App will show the available dates for that center
- After selecting dates, the App will show the available time slots for the specific center from 8 am to 12 am.
- After selecting the time, the candidate will submit the request.
- The candidate would receive a confirmation message, and they can check the Appointment History in Rasta App.
- The candidate can visit the center and show the message/appointment history to the authorities.
