According to sources, the South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, is gearing up to start an automobile assembly plant in Pakistan. The company has partnered with one of Pakistan’s largest companies Nishat Mills Limited, which is owned by Mian Muhammad Mansha.

Previously, the South Korean automaker was assembling and selling automobiles in Pakistan by partnering with Dewan Mushtaq Group. However, the partnership came to an end quite a while ago. Hyundai, since then, had been looking for a partner in Pakistan to re-enter the high potential local automotive market.

Since the MOU has already been signed between Nishat Mills Limited and Hyundai Motor Company, the company will soon start setting up its assembly plant to manufacture passenger as well as commercial vehicles.

  1. Where did u get this news? No official announcement has been done by Nishat group till now. I think KIA & Hyundai will be launched by Younus brothers group (lucky cement) as MOU has already been signed between KIA & younus brothers group and kia is a subsidiary company of hyundai.

  2. How is it even possible ? If commercial vehicles and Heavy Transport Vehicles is somewhat similar than this deal is already signed about some months ago with Al Haj. Al Haj is the company which is already selling FAW vehicles in Pakistan under Al Haj FAW. Check the attached picture for official proof. By the way, if they can provide multiple amazing passenger vehicles in less than 10 lacs, and also in max 2 years than they can get a good market in Pakistan.
