Welcome to another episode of PakWheels Owner’s Review series. Today, we have with us the owner of DFSK Glory 580 Pro, who upgraded from a sedan to a crossover SUV and thinks everyone else should do the same. Here’s why.

Purchase & Price

The owner was previously driving a 2019 model Honda Civic, looking to upgrade to a crossover SUV. Glory 580 Pro caught his eye because it’s a 7-seater car with a reasonable price tag. He booked his Glory 580 Pro in December 2020 and got the car in April 2021. Back then, the crossover cost him Rs. 44 lacs.

Fuel Average

People complain about the fuel average of crossovers and SUVs because they expect the same fuel efficiency of a sedan. But they forget that SUVs have double the weight of a sedan.

The owner of 580 Pro is satisfied with the fuel average of his crossover, which is 7 km/L in the city and 10 km/L on the highway.

Drive

The owner is loving the drive and feel of his Glory 580 Pro, says the crossover is an absolute pleasure to drive. Its 1.5L turbo engine that’s powerful enough to drive a full-house car with seven to nine passengers.

The owner has travelled to Punjab and up North to Sawat and Kalam in his car and loved it. The car did not feel underpowered or sluggish at all. The seats are comfortable for long journeys. All the passengers can sit back, relax, and enjoy the trip.

Glory 580 Pro is also fun to drive in the city. The car has good suspension and handling that gets even better with more passengers at the back.

AC Performance

580 Pro has a digital climate control system that performs really well. However, the owner feels like the company could add AC vents for the third row.

Key Features

Glory 580 Pro one-ups all the competitor crossovers with features like i-Talk voice command, seven seats, cornering lights, 360° camera, Digital Video Recorder (DVR), and foot trunk release.

Maintenance

The DFSK dealerships have amazing after-sales service, making their SUVs easy to maintain. The owner gets a maintenance service after every 5,000 km, and it costs him Rs. 10 to 12k, which he says is very reasonable.

Spare Parts

Again, DFSK deserves credit for helping its customers with spare parts and after-sales services. The owner told us a story of how his friend’s Glory 580 Pro got into an accident and needed a new door. The dealership showed their full support and got the door fixed and replaced within three to four days. That proves how easy and trouble-free it is to get spare parts of DFSK SUVs.

Resale

Every 580 Pro owner will be a keeper of his car because it’s so worth it. But if anyone wants to sell it, they won’t have to worry about its resale. The car will go in profit.

Final Words on DFSK Glory 580 Pro

In the words of the owner—” Glory 580 Pro is a game-changer SUV in Pakistan. The level of drive pleasure, comfort, and feature-richness is unmatched. I would recommend it to every Corolla and Civic user who’s looking to upgrade to a crossover SUV.”

The car will go in profit eh? What about the fact that it is not a quickly selling item? I suspect once ad appears the car would take around fifteen to thirty days to sale, no one but a show off and not caring for his money would be buying it, so, where exactly there is a profit?
Moreover, have you any idea the cost of oil and air filter alone makes Corolla ten times better than this Chinese box on wheels. In future please do not compare a worthless car with a vehicle that would sell readily as a basic item would.
