For quite some time, there are news that Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan LTD is going to launch its most awaited car Honda City this year. And it seems that this is becoming a reality as today Honda, on its official Instagram page, has uploaded a teaser with title ‘Wait is Over’. As per our sources, the teaser is for Honda City, however, there are no information whether it will be 6th or 7th generation.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan has 5th generation of City since 2009, while global markets are enjoying the 7th generation.
Is Booking For New Honda City Open?
Earlier, a post was circulating on social media in which Honda is allegedly asking for documents for a car booking, although there is no mention, which car. As per the post, the company has asked its consumers to submit a copy of CNIC and Purchase Order (PO) for the corporate customers in favour of Honda Atlas for the “new shape” of Honda City.
The post further said that the partial amount for City Aspire booking is Rs1.2 million (12-lacs), while for other variants, it is Rs1million (10-lacs).
However, there is no official announcement from Honda Atlas in this regard, hence, it is unofficial. So, here is our advice over the issue.
Our Advice:
Our advice to you is, please don’t hand over your hard-earned money in the hands of anyone asking for “Pre-Booking” even if that someone/ anyone is representative/employee of a dealer and taking booking on company’s name. Don’t book a vehicle that is not officially revealed or released by the car company [Honda Atlas in this case].
Even if a vehicle is released, do not book a car until you see it at the dealership. Honda Atlas has launched a Twitter account recently, and they should inaugurate it by officially clarifying this information so that the public remains protected against any adventure. Everyone should wait for the official launch by the company.
Without seeing the car at dealerships, knowing its specs and features, experiencing its driver and reading its reviews, booking a car is not a wise decision. So, we would like to tell our readers to just wait and then make a decision.
