Jaguar’s eye-catching and futuristic Type 00 Concept recently made a surprise appearance on the streets of Paris. Wrapped in a stunning French Ultramarine blue paint, the two-door coupe drove on its own for the first time in public, creating a buzz about Jaguar’s upcoming electric vehicles. This was a big moment for the brand, as the Type 00 gave everyone a sneak peek into Jaguar’s plans for the future of electric cars.
A Star-Studded Debut
The Type 00 has been seen before in bright colors like Miami Pink and London Blue, but this time, its deep blue shade added a touch of elegance. The car’s silver lower body and unique wheels made it stand out even more.
The most exciting moment came when the car’s butterfly doors opened smoothly, and Irish actor Barry Keoghan stepped out of the passenger seat. Keoghan, known for his roles in popular movies, casually grabbed his jacket from the car’s sleek trunk, adding a touch of star power to the scene.

His presence drew extra attention from the media, highlighting the Type 00’s futuristic and luxurious design. Later, Keoghan posed for photos in the driver’s seat, showing off the car’s simple and stylish interior.
Jaguar’s Electric Plans
Just before the Type 00’s Paris debut, Jaguar’s Managing Director, Rawdon Glover, shared some exciting news about the brand’s first all-electric car, set to launch in late 2025. This new model will be a luxurious four-door grand tourer (GT), inspired by the Type 00’s bold design.
Spy photos suggest the electric GT will have a long hood, sleek LED lights, and a sporty roofline, making it both beautiful and powerful. Built on Jaguar’s special Electric Architecture, the GT is expected to offer a driving range of up to 430 miles (692 km). In its most powerful version, it could deliver an impressive 956 hp (735 kW / 1,000 PS).
Glover said the brand is more interested in design, craftsmanship, and the driving experience. Instead of overwhelming drivers with technology, Jaguar wants to create a luxurious cabin where tech is there when you need it but doesn’t take over.
