MG Motors has been working on a new electric vehicle platform, ‘Nebula’. The company has finally revealed its first EV built on the Nebula platform. The new MG electric hatchback-cum-crossover has an interesting name and can go from 0 to 100 km/h speed in just 4 seconds. Presenting the all-new MG Mulan.

MG has previously referred to this EV as MG 4 and MG CyberE, but the company has finally decided to call it MG Mulan. The new electric super crossover resonated with the legendary Chinese warrior, maybe?
Power
Anyway, MG has not yet revealed the details of Mulan’s powertrain and battery size, but we do know that the new crossover has a 0-100 km/h time as low as 4 seconds. The EV has “LBS recumbent cells” that have a slim battery pack with high energy density.
Styling
MG Mulan is an aggressively designed electric vehicle built on a hatchback platform with the styling of a crossover. The first thing you notice at the front is petal-shaped, three-eyed, angular headlights meeting the sharply-creased bonnet. The second thing will be the masculine bumper with vertical side air intakes.
The sides feature some sharp creases. You can see a horizontal line running from the headlights to the rear door and another line that curves up from the boomerang-shaped tail lights.
Technology
We are missing the details about the specs and features of the upcoming MG Mulan. However, the company claims that the new electric crossover will have level 3 autonomous driving. The smart cockpit inside is also said to have 5G compatibility.
Launch
MG has developed the new electric crossover keeping the global markets in mind. The company plans to begin the sales of MG Mulan from Europe. Media reports suggest that the MG Mulan will make its European debut by the end of 2022.
