In a bid to revive the falling sales, Pak Suzuki Motor Company is now offering an attractive scheme of free registration on the purchase of Wagon R.

According to the details, the Japanese auto manufacturer has introduced a limited time offer of free registration on all variants of its 1000 cc hatchback Wagon R. The offer is applicable on the purchase of Wagon R variants from 11th February to 31st March 2020. The customers can avail the offer by visiting any authorized 3S dealership of Pak Suzuki across the country. Suzuki Wagon R was once the hot favorite car in the local auto sector of Pakistan and enjoyed booming sales for years.

It was also considered as the second most popular car in Suzuki’s lineup after Mehran. However, since the beginning of the current fiscal year 2019-20, Wagon R is facing a set back from its sudden fall in sales. The hatchback initially gained popularity as it was largely used in the ride-hailing services. Its decline is referred to as the extraordinary increase in its price over the past year and the introduction of the all-new 660 cc Suzuki Alto under a comparatively low price tag.

A large proportion of the mass market buyers have shifted to buying the entry-level 660 cc hatchback instead of Wagon R. According to the recent PAMA stats; Wagon R sales declined by as much as 81.7% in January 2020 as compared to its corresponding period last year. The company managed to sell only 567 units of Wagon R last month as compared to 3100 units in January 2019. The main goal to introduce a free registration offer is to boost up its sales. The current price of all variants of Wagon R is as follows:

  • Suzuki Wagon R VXR PKR 1,605,000/-
  • Suzuki Wagon R VXL PKR 1,695,000/-
  • Suzuki Wagon R AGS PKR 1,890,000/-

On the other hand, Suzuki Pakistan is also offering 0% markup installment plans for up to 36 months on its motorbikes. Once again, the company wants to sell more units of its motorbikes and, at the same time, stay affordable on the buyer’s budget.

Undoubtedly, the prices of motorbikes have also surged a lot in the past year or so that has resulted in a drop in sales of the two-wheeler segment as well. Have a look at the complete details of installment plans for different models of Suzuki motorbikes.
