Same Fault – Pak Suzuki Recalls Alto Again
After three months, Pakistan Suzuki Motor Limited has again recalled the 2019-21 Alto in the face of a faulty fuel filler neck. As per the company’s notification posted on social media, Suzuki has decided to start a service campaign for the Alto units manufactured in the year 2019, 2020, and 2022.
“It is suspected that Neck Fuel Filter of these vehicles can be rusted with the passage of time and in the worst condition it may perforated,” the company stated. Pak Suzuki fears that the defective part may cause fuel leakage, further prone to a severe accident.
It is relevant to mention that the prior service campaign was launched in Karachi, but now, PSMC has stretched it across the country.
Pak Suzuki Introduced All New Alto VXR
Suzuki Pakistan has introduced the all-new Suzuki Alto VXR. As per the company, the new variant has two new features for a “comfortable and convenient drive experience.” And the new features in this hatchback are:
- Auto Gear Shift (AGS)
- Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
And these two additions will surely increase the driving experience of driving as they will ensure comfort and safety for the driver and passengers.
Price of Suzuki Alto VXR
The company has also announced the introductory retail price of the new variant. As per the company, the rate of this car is Rs. 2,120,000. “The retail price is inclusive of freight charges,” the company announced.
Last month’s PAMA report showed a huge drop in sales for the car companies, including Pak Suzuki. The company sold 3,954 units last month against 6,679 units in July – reporting the lowest monthly sales in consecutive second months. (MoM decline: 41%).
