The Indonesian subsidiary of Suzuki, P.T. Suzuki Indomobil Motor, has introduced a special edition to the Suzuki Karimun Wagon R (branded as Wagon R in Pakistan). They’re calling it the Dilago and it is priced at 105.7 million Indonesian rupiah, which is approximately 9 lac Pakistani rupees. The Wagon R we have here in the Pakistani market costs PKR 899,000 for the base model while the top-spec model is priced at PKR 1,089,000.
The exclusive Indonesian version finds a complete package of exterior accessories staring with an exterior frame kit with side skirts and bumper spoilers. The front has been blessed with chrome accents while the aspect profile of the hatchback features side body mouldings, chrome handles and 14-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels on 175/65 tires. The car also boasts an alarm system, parking sensors and a rear spoiler. All of this for just PKR 900,000 if converted to our local currency. For this price, we get a Wagon R that doesn’t even have air conditioning!
In Indonesia, Wagon R is muscled through the same three-cylinder 1.0-litre K-Series engine which generates 68 PS and 90 Nm of torque, matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car for Indonesian roads is quite similar to the Indian version in terms of appearance and power-train. With a fuel efficiency of over 20 km/l, the Wagon R is considered to be a LCGC (Low Cost Green Car) in Indonesia that offers tax benefits. We can only wish to get such benefits in the local automobile industry.

Wagon R of Napaak Suzuki is a total waste of money. At cost of 1100,000/- it must have all features of Dilago as described above.
Pak suzuki motors is like shit and the car manufacturers in Pakistan have their monopoly and they are giving this nation, high cost and low quality automobiles… which is a shame for these manufactures…
