After the Deepal and BYD launches, it seems that Hyundai Nishat Motors is also interested in bringing the 7th generation of Elantra to Pakistan. It’s a common trend that when a new generation of models is introduced globally, Pakistan typically gets them 4-5 years later, after the rest of the world has moved on. And this time, we’re predicting the same thing with the 7th generation Elantra, which was internationally introduced in 2020. And now, after 4 years, we are getting signs of it launching in Pakistan. But there is a twist, we believe that the hybrid one is coming soon to Pakistan and the reason? Well, let’s talk about it.
Elantra Hybrid Leak in Pakistan
On August 6th, 2024, the 7th-gen Elantra was spotted in Pakistan, somewhere in the Baluchistan region. At that time, Hyundai Nishat Motors didn’t accept any claim; it was just some unofficial leaks and pictures that circulated the internet. As per the leaks, we observed the 7th generation Elantra and reports claimed that it could be hybrid.
Hyundai’s Teaser
Just yesterday, Hyundai Nishat Motors shared a story on their official Instagram page, posting a steering wheel image as a teaser. Based on our observation, we can confirm it was 100% a 7th-gen Hyundai Elantra steering wheel. And our experts believe that it could be the hybrid Elantra.

Before this story, Hyundai also posted some videos hinting the the introduction of something new, and we can guess it was about the 7th-gen Elantra hybrid.
Possible Trim of Elantra Hybrid?
So far, our guess is that they will launch the new Elantra in Hybrid 1.6-liter.
The hybrid variant is confirmed so far and internationally, Elantra comes in two NA variants, which are 1.6 and 2.0, but in Pakistan, Hyundai will reportedly launch the 1.6L hybrid as 1.6L petrol was already in the local market and reportedly the hybrid one will replace the petrol trim.
Expected Launch
There’s no confirmation from the official side about the exact launch date or location of Hyundai Elantra hybrid. However, we guess that they’ll unveil it in the PAPS 2024 event for the first time, which is going to be held on October 25-27 in Lahore. So, you can expect it to be available in the Pakistani market around the summer of 2025.

Shape is tooo alienatic and not appealing at all. If not successful, shape would be the major issue as mostly experienced by Hyundai vehicles like Sonata n others. Civic is far better than others in its segment, though remains far short to get people’s attention due overpricing. So far Hyundai has not come Upto standard.

You are confusing segment, Hyundai Sonata is not battling in the same ground as civic, Sonata is the D segment or midsize
Civic is C segment or compact, where Elantra fall in the same category as civic and corolla
Thus Sonata is more expensive but as well bigger and more comfortable
Now if you don’t like the design is a matter of taste, i respect that as the saying : taste and color are not debatable
Some people will find the look sporty other futuristic
But the elantra hybrid is consumming 4.7L per 100KM i’am refering to US review
This one is competing against prius even though prius is better, and civic hybrid (but we don’t have that)
For ICE variant we will might get the N variant, the question is will it be the 1.6 Turbo or 2.0Turbo ?
We don’t have many performance car (only expensive like Mercedes AMG) but this one could be the best selling performing car, my guess it will be the cheaper performing car available thats why
The Hybdai Elantra 6th gen was no doubt a good car and it had loads of functions and comfort but let’s see what happens in the case of Hyndai Elantra 7th gen

Civic 11th gen is futuristic (In other countries) but it is so good looking and the design is in proportion.
