Corolla Cross is Indus Motor Company’s first hybrid crossover SUV in Pakistan, and the company became among the pioneers of hybrid technology in the country. With the Toyota badge, the car has performed very well, and the customers have provided a rather positive response since its launch. Hybrid cars are up-and-coming vehicles in the local market as a number of companies, including Haval, Toyota, and Hyundai, have entered the segment.

Considering fuel average is a top priority among local customers, hybrid cars ought to be a hit. We hope more companies will enter the hybrid and electric-hybrid segment, making it more competitive for consumers.

    Toyota cross is struggling since its induction in pakistan market sometime discount offer other time meagre price reduction, facing competition with other better quality chinese competitors suvs which are quite superior and offer better options, survival in market is uphill task

    @Rao
    Survival in the market is an uphill task because of competition and not superiority of quality. If it were so, then Oshan owners wouldn’t have been facing problems with bent spark plugs.

    Your argument is confusing. The cross is facing competition BECAUSE the quality and the value for money proposition of the competition IS that much better. The direct competition for the Cross are the Havel SUVs. The direct competitor is the Jolion (both hybrid and non hybrid) and even the H6 to some extent. Their sales numbers speak for themselves.

    You have to share your source for the Oshan X7 thing you mentioned. The only way such a thing can occur is if the wrong spark plug is installed. If the spark plug is the wrong length and too long, the piston can potentially hit it; in which case that would be down to human error and NOT a problem with the vehicle.

    I need not engage in argument with you because everyone knows that you have a habit of jump starting a debate and then expanding it needlessly.
    As for source for spark plugs, my cousin owns Oshan, and he has faced this problem. The vehicle is dealership maintained so your suggestion about faulty spark plugs is invalid like every other argument.

    Yes Khurram, We “jump in” but you are always dropping nuggets of wisdom and alternative facts. 🤦‍♂️

    So, one isolated case… With no clear picture… 🤔

    OOOK… 🤷‍♂️ 🙄
