Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Detailed Review: Price, Specs & Features
The all-new Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid model gives you the best of both worlds. You can experience the adrenaline rush of a thoroughbred sports car, while at the same time enjoying the luxury of a sedan that can comfortably seat four adult passengers – something most sports cars is just not designed to do. This Sports Sedan achieves a 0-100Km/h in a fast 4.5 seconds. It is an Electric Hybrid that boasts 500kW/680PS.
Exterior, Engine, and Performance
The Turbo S E-Hybrid Model Panamera is almost the same size as the Mercedes S class, but it’s the sleek shape and design make it look a lot more aggressive, larger in size, and much sportier. Its ground clearance is 138mm, which is just ideal for a city commute, over normal humps and bumps. The front and backlights are both LEDs – and they are just beautiful !! The front lights are sensory lights that sense oncoming traffic and adjust the height accordingly so that it doesn’t disturb the other drivers. It also increases or decreases light intensity according to how much light is required. Day time running LEDs have a perfect intensity, visible by everyone but easy on the eyes.
Below the front bumper is an apron and chrome lining, which continues throughout the car, giving it a continuity in its aesthetics. There are parking sensors on the sides along with the “E-Hybrid” emblem, which is made from stainless steel.
This model houses massive 21” inch alloys, which are the same color as the body of the car, Piano Black. The disc brake calipers on this car are yellow while the discs are made from ceramic, which helps it last longer and dissipates heat quickly during aggressive driving.

A 10-piston aluminum monobloc fixed brake calipers at the front and four-piston brakes at the rear. Carbon-fibre reinforced brake discs are internally vented and cross-drilled with a diameter of 420mm front/ 410mm rear – which means you will always have the amazing stopping power of a Porsche! The electronically controlled spoiler in the back of the car comes out at a push of a button and fits back in perfectly and neatly – so neatly in fact that with the spoiler closed, you could not guess there was a spoiler within the body. The car also has a roof-mounted brake light, which is ideally positioned and can be spotted from a distance.
The top speed of the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is 310km/h, and it does 0-60Km/h in 3.3 seconds (and 0-100Km/h in 4.5 seconds). It has a total of eight cylinders with an 86.0 Bore and Stroke. Since the car is both electric and fuel-based, if driven properly, it can give an average a staggering 40 km/L.
Interior and Features
The entire sporty yet classy combination of red and black leather is hand-stitched throughout the car. The dashboard and steering are half leather and half top of the line carbon fiber. The Panamera Model is flooded with features such as the paddle shifters behind the steering. You will also find a mode selector on the right bottom of the steering on which you can find an Economy Mode, an E-Hybrid mode, and a Sports mode. When shifting, the car adjusts the set mode; for example, when you switch it to the sports mode, the car lowers itself, the spoiler comes out, and the interior lighting changes. You will also find a button on the middle of the mode shifter, which, when pressed, terminates all restrictions for twenty seconds; the turbo engine gives out maximum power in that mode.
The audio system is also made up of top brand components. Bose speakers are installed in this particular model. Along with these luxury options, you will find an electronic hand brake, seat height control, heating, and cooling seats; the back seats are massager chairs, giving you a choice to arrive at your destination relaxed and refreshed. Let us not forget the amount of legroom and headroom there is in the back despite the curvy shape and swooping roofline of the Panamera.
There are options on what kind of rear seats you’d like. They can be continuous sofa-like seats or two individual seats, which have an optional screen in the middle of them. You can control the car multimedia, climate/temperature, navigation, display settings, air conditioner settings, etc., all from the comfort of your luxurious leather back seats. Inside the rear armrest of the Panamera Executive Model, you will find a multipurpose table on which you can either eat or do your work. It fits neatly into the armrest once you are done using it.
The windows at the back are privacy windows, which means they are fully tinted, and for further privacy, you have automatic electric curtains that cover the tinted windows at the touch of a button. Its trunk capacity is 405 liters. If you want to triple this space more than, you can fold the rear seats and get an amazing 1395 liters of luggage space in the back.
