Toyota Yaris has completed its hattrick against Honda City and Civic. The Toyota Indus Motor’s car has outsold both of its competitors again for third month in a row. According to latest report of Pakistan Automotive Manufacturing Association (PAMA), IMC sold 2,338 units of Yaris in November, while 2,088 vehicles of Honda City and Civic left the showroom.
Earlier, Yaris beat its competitors in October and September, as 3,058 and 2,421 units of the car were sold in these months, respectively. Meanwhile, 1,858 and 2,293 units of City and Civic were sold in the said time period.
Meanwhile, Yaris has also out sold Honda’s cars in total sales in the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2021. As per PAMA, Honda sold 10,429 units of City and Civic since July 2020, while 11,405 units of Yaris have hit the road, in the specific period.
Sales of Yaris:
High-sales of Yaris are the major reason behind growth of IMC, as it is most sold vehicle of the company since its launch. The company has sold Yaris more than Corolla, Fortuner and its other vehicles.
IMC launched Yaris in March this year, but couldn’t sale the car due to COVID-19 lockdown. After the government lifted restrictions, the vehicle has seen a steady rise in sales. The Sedan has proved to be a massive hit for IMC.
Features of Yaris:
IMC launched the car in 1300cc and 1500cc engine displacement. The current prices of these variants are Rs. 2,509,000 To 2,999,000.
