In a much awaited outcome, Toyota Motor Corporation Japan has launched the all-new Toyota Vitz 2017 (Yaris) available within the price range of 1,181,520 – 2,237,760 yen. This newer model has been introduced with three power terrains that include petrol, diesel and full hybrid.
Aesthetically, the car has been redesigned with aggressive looks, which seem to bring out the innate striking features of the car. The car combines a new, more aggressive under priority frontal design element – the distinctive new Toyota face design execution, most commonly known as the Keen design manages to present an interesting exterior proportion. Flanked by aerodynamically efficient front aero corner treatments, the strong center section of the lower bumper houses a large, trapezoidal lower grille optimizing engine bay cooling whilst emphasizing the ground hugging stance and low center of gravity.
In terms of performance, the car features the next iteration of Toyota’s prove Hybrid Synergy Drive. The downsized HSD combines a 1.5L 1NZ-FXE petrol engine unit with a lighter more compact electric motor, transaxle, inverter and battery pack. The total system weighs less than 200KG, 20% less than of Auris Hybrid.
The Toyota Vitz 2017 retains the 1.0L, 3 Cylinder 1KR-FE and 1.3L 4-cyl 1NR-FKE engines.
