To ensure the safety and security of the public, Islamabad Police Anti-Car lifting Cell, in a planned action has arrested two car lifters and recovered as much as two vehicles from them.
According to the details, DIG operations Waqar Uddin Syed directed the police officials to curb the menace of car theft from the city and after that teams have been formed in this regard which is vigilantly and religiously arresting car lifters making the city safer for the people.
In the recent action, the two culprits that have been arrested by the police are Taza Gul and Naik Dil. The authority has already registered the case, and more investigation is underway. The successful mission has been hailed and lauded by the higher police officials; they are pleased with the performance of police officers involved in the case.

Moreover, it is imperative to mention here that Anti-car lifting cell Islamabad also recovered 132 cars worth PKR 115.6 million in the previous year and also recovered 136 motorbikes which are worth Rs 7.7 million. In the whole process police arrested over 200 vehicle lifters as well.
Furthermore, Karachi Police have also apprehended a group of four car lifters that include a woman as well in Karachi. The culprits were involved in car and bike snatching throughout the city; they used to snatch the vehicles from the public and sell their parts at a low cost. Additionally, a few months back, Gujranwala Police also arrested four bike lifters from the city and recovered as much as 25 bikes. The names of the bike lifters which the police arrested are Imran, Zulfiqar, Rizwan, and Riaz. Higher police officials have lauded the performance of their subordinates for taking stern measures to ensure the safety of the public.
