China- Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) bus service has started its operations, reports a local media outlet.
As per the details, the bus with its first 15 passengers has started its journey from Gulberg, Lahore and will go all the way to Tashkurgan China. The bus will also pick passengers along the way making the total number of passengers to 36. While speaking to the media, the passengers lauded government’s effort in starting the bus service. The bus will reach its destination in a total of 36 hours.
Moreover, the Director North-South Transport Network Private Limited company, Qamar Ejaz, asserted that the bus is equipped with all the latest technology and security equipment. The company will be handling all the operations and is the authorized operator in Pakistan. The one-way trip ticket is PKR 13,000 per passenger whereas return ticket will cost you around PKR 23,000.

Documents required to make the trip through the bus service are as follow:
- Valid passport
- Visa
- Valid NIC
- Original Invitation from China
- Ticket
